Mätman Check HACCP
Mätman Check is a system for temperature measurement and documentation of actions according to routines for own-check at food handling. The system is completely adapted to all operations with handling of food, like for instance restaurants, food stores and institutional/catering kitchens.
The system measures temperatures and registers actions at:
– goods reception
– heating, warming and cooling of food
– cold storing
Mätman Check also handles registering of visual inspections, for instance cleaning and hygiene inspections. A complete solution for total documentation of the checks performed.
The concept consists of:
– A hand-held unit
– A penetration probe
– A wire probe
– Calibration certificate
According to the legislation, valid from 1 January 2006, a company handling food must have an own-check programme based on the principles in HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point). This means that you identify the steps of the operations, which are critical from a food hygienic point of view, and supervise them in order to reduce or completely eliminate the health risks. Temperature supervision is one of the basic prerequisites for the outline of the own-check programme based on HACCP.
